So I am definitely back on track. Weighed in this morning at 171.6 lbs. That is two pounds down from just Tuesday morning’s weight when I got back from my trip. Nice! Even, if I do say so myself…

Water Goal Met!
So far, this week I have banked points every day which is awesome because it means: 1) I have some wiggle room going into the weekend, 2) It won’t be so difficult when I decrease my points value as I loose weight, and 3) My stomach is getting used to less food, which is the best news of all!
Now, to get started on my next goal: How to bring fitness in to my weight loss!
Just as in the horror movies
when someone discovers that the phone calls
are coming from inside the house
so, too, I realized
that our tender overlapping
has been taking place only inside me.
All that sweetness, the love and desire-
it’s just been me dialing myself
then following the ringing to another room
to find no one on the line,
well, sometimes a little breathing
but more often than not, nothing.
To think that all this time-
which would include the boat rides,
the airport embraces, and all the drinks-

and the extension in the darkened guest room upstairs.
